Jade Gomez is a music, culture, and entertainment editor, writer and photographer from New York/New Jersey with a passion for hidden pockets of art and community.

​

While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Design with a minor in Contemporary Music at the renowned Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts in New York City, Jade has received widespread acclaim from her peers and professors as a strong journalist with an eye for an exciting story.

​

Jade has interned for Rolling Stone Magazine, where she penned Megan Thee Stallion's first mainstream feature in 2018, as well as FADER Magazine, where she covered mainstream and underground culture in New York as well as supported international acts.

​

Her strong reporting skills have also led her to be invited to The Nation’s Student Journalist Conference, a recipient of the Eugene Lang Opportunity Award and the Student Research Grant for her thesis research in Southern hip hop, two-time Dean’s Honor Symposium panelist, and more.

​

Post-grad, Jade held the assistant music editor position at Paste Magazine until she moved to the prestigious PAPER Magazine as news editor and feature writer in 2022. While at PAPER, Jade has written acclaimed profiles of Freddie Gibbs, Turnstile, McKinley Dixon and more, and profiled Ice Spice for the April 2023 cover.
